Miami Spiced Chicken with Soy Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients to Serve- 4

Ingredients


  • 2 Large chicken breasts, boneless, skinless 

  • 1 Teaspoon Miami Spice 

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil 

  • 2 Cups Broccoli florettes 

  • 1 Clove Garlic, smashed 

  • 2 Teaspoons Low sodium Soy Sauce

Preparation

To prepare the Chicken: Butterfly cut the chicken breasts in half. Season them on both sides with the Miami spice. Drizzle with a little olive oil. Warm a heavy skillet with the remaining olive oil. Add the  spiced chicken breasts over medium high heat cooking until well browned. Turn the chicken and continue to cook over medium heat until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes overall.   

To prepare the Broccoli:  Steam the broccoli in a small amount –about ¼ cup -of water in a covered pan along with the garlic. When the broccoliis bright green and softened, add the soy and cook until the liquid in the panis almost all gone.
To finish: Serve the chicken along side thebroccoli.
