Banana Tagalong Crostada

Description

Ingredients to Serve- 6

Ingredients

1/2 Box Girl scout tagalongs
1 Large Banana, peeled and sliced
½ cup Roasted peanuts
½ teaspoon Pure Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon cayanne
2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
6 sheets Asaian spring roll sheets
1 Large Egg, slightly whisked

Preparation

To Prepare the banana filling:
In a small bowl, combine the broken tagalong cookies, banana slices, almonds and vanilla.

To Prepare the Cinnamon Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon, cayanne, and sugar. Pour mixture into a sugar shaker.

To Prepare the Crostada:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lay 6 sheets of spring roll out on a dry work surface. Brush the edges with egg wash. Place ¼ cup of mixture into the center of the spring roll sheets, sprinkle cinnamon mixture from the shaker. Pull up the ends of the dough to make a satchel. Brush the outside lightly with egg wash, sprinkle outside of each with cinnamon mixture from the shaker. and.

To Bake:
Place the pastry on a baking sheet. Bake the crostadas for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly serving warm.
